I did not plan to spend my twenties obsessing over why one page outranks another. But here we are, 9 years deep, and I still get a little thrill every time a site I worked on climbs. I started as an SEO executive at an agency, handling delivery for local and international clients. That is where I learned the craft from the ground up: the technical side, the content side, and all the unglamorous bits in between.
A computer science degree helped more than I expected, because once you understand how search engines actually crawl and read a site, a lot of SEO stops being guesswork and starts being logic. From there I kept leveling up, from doing the work to leading it, managing writers, developers, and designers across live campaigns over 12 industries. Rankings and traffic are nice, but they are not the point. The point is customers. The thing I am proudest of is that most of my clients stay, and a lot of them came from someone else recommending me.
I celebrate when the phone rings or the booking form fills. If the work is not moving your business, the strategy needs fixing, and I will tell you so.
