Project Overview

Reorg provides critical financial data with expert credit analysis, innovative tools, and proprietary technologies. They help legal and financial pros, traders, investors, advisors, and even portfolio managers make informed decisions and fast yet more calculated investments. 

But in Feb 2020, when I got this client there was a huge need for a strong online presence and driving targeted organic traffic. After investigating the whole site, I identified the actual issues and created my fool-proof SEO plan that resulted in 62% organic traffic growth within 17 months. 

Challenges That Need to Address

I did a complete SEO audit of the site as well as analyzed the competitors’ sites. Then I figured out the given issues that were inevitable to address for Reorg business’s growth:

🔴 The financial news and data analytics space has been highly competitive.

🔴 Even the website had traffic but not much due to most usage of high-competition keywords.  

🔴 The website suffered from low domain authority and trust flow, creating a halt in its ranking.

🔴 The site lacked continuous content production for sustainable traffic growth. 

🔴 Content on the site was also not properly optimized and CTAs weren’t added to the landing pages.

🔴 There was a low count of internal linking and low website loading speed (generally it took more than 8 sec).

🔴 The website also bore many bugs and related technical health issues that ceased its ranking.

🔴 Poor site mapping created crawling and indexing issues for multiple pages. 

🔴 There were most irrelevant and low-quality links that affected the site’s authority and credibility. 

My SEO Game Plan

After a keen understanding of all the above roadblocks of Reorg’s traffic, I implemented my tried-and-tested SEO strategies which typically consist of:

🟡 I conducted a laser-focused competitor analysis of the site.

🟡 I performed the site audit and resolved various onsite issues including site speed, load time, URL structure, image alt text, etc. 

🟡 I have done keyword analysis targeting their niche.

🟡 I created different landing pages, modified old content, and optimized all the on-page elements, inoculating relevant keywords. 

🟡 I enhanced the website architecture with proper internal linking, schema markup, and other elements. 

🟡 I implemented structured data to enhance SERP visibility. 

🟡 I worked on an effective link-building strategy and created high-authority, niche-relevant backlinks to strengthen the authority.
