Rebuilding Rakesh Rajdev’s Online Reputation with Ethical SEO

 

Project Overview

Rakesh Rajdev, a popular hotelier and businessman from Rajkot, Gujarat, faced severe reputational challenges in 2021. Some high-authority Indian media outlets like The Indian Express and Times of India published gambling-related news articles that ranked on the first and further pages of Google and other search engines. Those compromising reports dominated search engine results, which significantly damaged his online reputation, overall professional image, and business relationships. 

In such a scenario, I had to restore his online credibility by using ethical, white-hat SEO reputation management strategies. So, my effective and custom search engine optimization tactics suppressed those negative press releases and replaced them with positive and neutral search results. But it was done without triggering any penalties or further scrutiny. 

Challenges That Need to Be Addressed

To be honest, it was not an easy project. It was covered with several complex obstacles that need to be addressed meticulously and persistent approach, such as:

🔴 Negative articles were ranking from highly authoritative news websites (having DA 90+) on the first page of search engine results

🔴 Multiple unfavorable links appeared in the top 20 results that hindered their suppression or made this task so difficult

🔴 Search intent for the brand name was dominated by the search results, but by scandal-related queries   

🔴 Any black-hat SEO tactic could ruin the game overall, so ethical SEO practices had to be ensured.

🔴 Search engine algorithm updates affected ranking strategies and demanded consistent monitoring of the whole SEO performance

My Reputation Management Strategy

In order to overcome the above-mentioned challenges, I designed a smart yet strategic and multi-phased approach, such as:

🟡 I developed and optimized 15+ high-quality web properties, including branded microsites, blogs, and profiles.

🟡 I created and distributed neutral and positive content in a well-strategic manner, targeting branded keywords.

🟡 I structured and ensured a continuous content publication plan targeting relevant keywords.

🟡 I conducted an in-depth search intent analysis to align new content with user queries. 

🟡 I executed an aggressive backlink strategy to help new content outrank negative articles. 

🟡 I reinforced trust signals using structured data and clean site architectures across web assets. 

🟡 I monitored SERP fluctuations and adapted strategies based on Google algorithm changes. 

Results I Achieved

My whole SEO campaign finally got the fruits of true efforts while suppressing negative results from the first two search result pages, transforming Rakesh Rajdev’s digital identity:

Over a 6-9 month and around a one-year span, the digital narrative around Rakesh Rajdev shifted entirely to the web.
